Leighton Meester Swamped by Sex Tape Rumors

‘Gossip Girl’ star has not confirmed authenticity of video

NEW YORK – Leighton Meester, the brunette co-star of “Gossip Girl” and arguably the heart of the popular CW franchise, has been blindsided by the online dissemination of a sex tape allegedly featuring the transplanted New Yorker and her ex-boyfriend.

The video in question was released Friday by Celeb-hotline.com, a Web site specializing in the sale of nude and other controversial clips featuring high-profile celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan.

While the site merely suggests that a sex tape featuring a woman resembling singer Britney Spears may be real, telling subscribers to “decide for yourself,” it insists the material purportedly featuring the 23-year-old “Gossip Girl” actress is “100% the REAL Leighton Meester.”

Los Angeles broadcaster KTLA has estimated the video, if authentic, was filmed 5 years ago. Neither Meester nor her reps have spoken publicly regarding the film, though the site’s owners’ would be leaving themselves open to a costly libel lawsuit if it were proven Meester was not the subject of the tape, making it less likely to be a phony.

It was not immediately clear who owned the site, which was registered through an online proxy service, or who solicited the video. Celebrity tabloid Web site TMZ quoted company spokesman Kevin Blatt early Friday as saying Celeb-hotline.com was eager to complete the then-pending sale.

Blatt, who has billed himself online as a publicist and “celebrity sex tape broker,” has previously brokered the sale of sex tapes featuring Hilton and “Austin Powers” co-star Verne Troyer. He and TMZ were among those sued by Troyer last year, who alleged his tape was stolen (TMZ posted clips of the video online). After Troyer’s ex-girlfriend admitted she had been the one who leaked the sex tape online, both sides reached a settlement limiting further promotion without Troyer’s permission.

Meester is best known for her “Gossip Girl” portrayal of cunning queen bee Blair Waldorf, a high school senior at a posh prep school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Earlier in the decade, she also appeared on a number of other television dramas, including “24,” “House” and “Veronica Mars.”

Miley Cyrus 'Shown' In Scandalous Photo

Miley Cyrus is involved in another photo scandal.

A new photo has surfaced on the Internet allegedly showing Miley Cyrus engaged in sexual activity. Her representative was quick to debunk the authenticity of the photo.

"The alleged photo of Miley Cyrus circulating the internet is completely fabricated," her rep told the New York Daily News.

Gossip websites have also gone an extra step to prove the photo is a fake and easy to Photoshop by posting the original picture and detailing where it could have been cropped. Lalate news pointed out that the photo's color is distorted and that it's a small size—all techniques to prevent people from seeing where the crop was made.

This is not the first time the pop star has been involved in a photo scandal. Parents were outraged when she shot a semi-topless photo for Vanity Fair magazine and when cell phone pictures of her posing in a bikini surfaced, Daily News reported.

Miley Cyrus involved in another photo scandal: real or fake?

Just when we thought Miley Cyrus was starting to steer clear of her “bad girl” image, new photos allegedly showing the pop princess engaged in a sexual activity have hit the Internet.

"The alleged photo of Miley Cyrus circulating the internet is completely fabricated," the singer's rep tells the Daily News.

While Cyrus, 16, has been busy working on her new movie, “The Last Song,” in Georgia, fans are left wondering if the "Hannah Montana" star is as innocent as she wants people to believe.

It is unknown whether the images of Cyrus are authentic, but this wouldn’t be the first time the teen has been involved in a photo scandal.

In 2008, parents were outraged when the then 15-year-old singer posed semi-topless for the cover of Vanity Fair.

The singer continued to raise eyebrows when her cell phone was hacked and leaked pictures showed Cyrus proactively posing in bikinis and a wet bathing suit.

As for the teen star’s latest photo scandal, several websites have debunked the authenticity of the photos by proving how an original image could have been altered.

We are officially obsessed with the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” drama. Did Jon cheat with the teacher? Did Kate cheat with the bodyguard? Who gets custody of all those adorable quarter-Asian babies???

Every day it’s a new scandal for the Gosselins: Kate gave Jon a $5-a-day allowance and raised hell if he overspent. Jon’s a deadbeat Octodad who stays with Kate for the dough. Kate wouldn’t let Jon talk to his brothers at his father’s funeral. There’s no end to the turmoil! The tabloids and celebrity rags have relentlessly chronicled the family circus and apparently they are running out of revelations. Because yesterday, Us maggie - which has been leading the Gosselin charge - was reduced to putting Kate’s infamous hairdo - aka “The Volcano” - on an assortment of celebrity heads.

Kate’s coif, as you may know, has been getting nearly as much attention as Jon’s nocturnal wanderings. The spiky-in-the-back, sloping-in-the-front punk cut has been slammed by stylists who say it looks like it was done with a salad spinner. “It’s not going to work for everybody,” Kate warned. “I have very, very thick hair . . . I’ve seen people come through the book line with thin hair and it just won’t work.”

Brangelina ‘at each other's throats’ over Jennifer Aniston

Is Jennifer Aniston, the 'other woman' in the Brangelina story? If latest reports are to be believed Hollywood's 'It' couple are "at each other's throats" over Pitt's renewed closeness to his ex-wife. 

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had quashed rumours that their relationship is in trouble by putting up a united front at the Cannes premiere of 'Inglourious Basterds' with Pitt claiming that he has never been happier in his entire life.  But latest reports claim that the show of togetherness was just a facade and the couple are heading towards splits-villa as Jolie is upset over Pitt's renewed friendship with 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston whom he had divorced in 2005, reported Daily Mail online. 

"Angie doesn't want to be a laughing stock because the world knows how close he and Jen are right now and how often they talk. But Brad wants to remain friends with Jennifer and told Angie he wouldn't cut off contact," a source told the newspaper.  The couple have been at the centre of split rumours after reports that he secretly met with Aniston last month infuriating Jolie. The actress had reportedly even threatened to cancel her Cannes visit unless Pitt promised to cut all ties with his ex, but Pitt refused to do so. 

Onlookers at the Cannes premiere said that once the cameras stopped clicking, Jolie's smile disappeared and she furiously ran up the stairs of the theatre leaving a flustered Brad to run after her.

Jordan caught in sex tape storm

Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has found herself embroiled in a sex tape storm. 

Big Brother star Billi Bhatti claims that the former glamour model had a 10-month "cyber-affair" with him.  He said the two spent months dabbling in steamy web-sex talk behind her hubby Peter Andre's back. 

Bhatti has released a scandalous one-minute home video, which according to him shows a naked Jordan.  He also revealed explicit details of his alleged 10-month online "fling" in an interview. 

"She was pretty dirty," the Daily Star quoted him Bhatti as saying. 

"She sent me a load of images exposing herself, as well as a video," he added. 

The 27-year-old has already been dubbed ''Billi Liar'' after he wrongly boasted of bedding BB babe Chanelle Hayes, 20.  Meanwhile, mum-of-three Kate, 31, spent an afternoon with top media lawyers following the allegations. 

Sources have revealed that the tape appears to be doctored to stitch her up. One photo appears to show Jordan on her back, naked with legs apart.  Bhatti said that his "online affair" with the star initiated after meeting her in London's Embassy Club in August 2007. 

"I didn't think I'd hear from her, so when she found me on MySpace three days later, referring to the conversation we'd had in the club, I was quite surprised," he said. 

"I knew it was her because she was talking about the conversation we had had. That's when we started talking and exchanged e-mail addresses. She gave me hers so I could contact her on MSN. 

"I even got myself a webcam because she wanted me to. 

"I started using Facebook to speak to her as well," he added. 

And their conversations gradually became "fruity" and sexually explicit, he said. 

The allegations, however, have been dismissed by the troubled Jordan's friends - and by her estranged husband Andre.

American singer Jessica Simpson has dismissed rumours that she is pregnant with her boyfriend, American footballer Tony Romo’s child. 

Rumours about her pregnancy started spreading at the weekend after she was pictured performing at the San Antonio Bud and Beer Festival in Texas with a bulging belly. But 28-year-old Simpson’s representative, Lauren Auslander, has put down the rumours. 

“She is not (pregnant),” ‘Contactmusic’ quoted Auslander as telling ‘TheCelebrityTruth.com’.

Freida Pinto becomes new face cosmetic giant

Freida Pinto and Evangeline Lilly are the latest beauties to join the list of celebrities to endorse products by cosmetic giant L’Oreal. 

While there have been persistent Internet rumours that the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star would be the face of Estee Lauder, Pinto has said that she is excited to be the face of L’Oreal. 

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” ‘People’ quoted Freida as saying in a statement. 

And the other A-lister, to step in front of the lens for L’Oreal, is ‘Lost’ star Lilly, who says: “It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person’s aspirations to beauty and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone.”

Lohan ‘ha haaas’ pregnancy rumours

Lindsay Lohan has laughed off reports suggesting that she’s 7 weeks pregnant. 

It was also being claimed that she is booked in for an abortion later this week. The 22 year-old Lohan, who recently broke up with her partner Samantha Ronson, was reported to be pregnant by blogger and journalist Ian Halperin, reports ‘The NZPA’. 

However, MTV UK reported that Lohan is unsure of who the father is. The Mean Girls star had allegedly slept with a number of men following her split from Ronson, and apparently doesn’t know who the child’s father is. 

“I swear she’s carrying,” a source had earlier said. 

“She’s going through big emotional turmoil. She’s not sure if she’ll have it or go through with an abortion that she booked to have in the next few days. 

“Saddest part is she has no idea who the father is. She must have slept with more than two dozen men in the past couple of months,” the source added.

But when questioned by ‘E!’ Online, Lohan laughed off the reports. 

"Ha ha ha," was all the star said. 

In a recent interview with Closer Magazine, Lohan has said she wants to focus more on her movie career and shed her paparazzi party life image. 

“When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were people who wanted to act in great movies- It’s all I ever wanted to do. I didn’t get into this business to be a celebrity - I’ve been a target for a long time,” she said.

'Gossip Girl' Spin-off Rumored to be in Jeopardy

The Gossip Girl spin-off hasn't even aired yet but there are already rumors that show's future is in jeopardy. There's a lot of hype surrounding the series that will chronicle the younger years of Lily van der Woodsen but apparently not enough to overthrow other pilot projects on The CW's slate.  

The network has reportedly four open slots to fill, and according to E!, sophomore drama Privileged seems like a solid candidate for one. That leaves just three slots for the Melrose Place remake, The Vampire Diaries, the Gossip Girl spin-off and The Beautiful Life starring Mischa Barton of The O.C. fame.

Word on the street is that Melrose is already in, as well as The Vampire Diaries given how much fan following bloodsuckers have. The Beautiful Life, which is produced by Ashton Kutcher, who has a good relationship with The CW, appears to be an ideal match for America's Next Top Model. And that may leave the Gossip Girl spin-off out.

Meanwhile, Deadline Hollywood is already reporting that the spin-off is "done." And that "the show went from hot, to lukewarm, to "fading but wouldn't count out", to now dead, according to insiders."

On the other hand, the aforementioned pilots are still very much in the race, according to E! Online and that "nothing is dead." For the record, the CW's official statement on the situation is "No comment." Fans will just have to wait for the network's final decision next week.

Avril Lavigne rumoured to be cheating on husband with oil heir

Singer-actress Avril Lavigne has added fuel to the rumours that her marriage to musician Deryck Whibley is in trouble with some public display of affection with oil heir Brandon Davis. 

The 'Complicated' singer was spotted cozying up to the multi-millionaire during a recent night out, with reports suggesting that she is cheating on Deryck with Davis who is a well known playboy in Hollywood's party circles. Davis who is a close friend of hotel heiress Paris Hilton entered the party at a Los Angeles club with Lavigne and the pair spent all their time together with the Canadian singer sitting on his lap, reported ‘Ace Showbiz’.  The 25-year-old singer married Deryck two years ago and they have been dogged by split rumours since the very beginning. 

While the couple have repeatedly denied that their marriage is in trouble they did not react to the last separation report which was run by X17 Online a month ago.
