A Los Angeles court has ruled against Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi ordering him to stay away from the singer for three years after her father Jamie filed a restraining order request in January.

Jamie had filed for the order after learning that Lutfi had attempted to contact Spears over Christmas and had allegedly smuggled a cell phone to the singer in a hotel, ‘Contactmusic’ reported. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva Bobb issued the restraining order yesterday against Lutfi and his legal associate Jon Eardley asking them to stay at least 100 yards away from Britney and her sons, the website said.

Under the terms of the new order, Lufti cannot contact the singer via phone, mail or email. Lutfi has now filed a lawsuit against the Spears family for defamation and battery.
