'About Elly' and 'Racing Dreams' win Tribeca Film Festival Awards

The eighth annual Tribeca Film Festival announced award champs on Sunday night in New York City at the Tribeca Filmaker Lounge.

Recipient of the prize for best feature is "About Elly," an Iranian film about college friends who reunite for a weekend by the Caspian sea. Zoe Kazan won best actress for portraying a college student who returns home to Brooklyn, New York, for the summer in "The Exploding Girl." Best actor went to Ciaran Hinds as a depressed widower in "The Eclipse."

Winner of best documentary is the fest hit "Racing Dreams," about crazed go-cart contestants who dream of becoming NASCAR racers. Read more about fest films at the Feinberg Files.
